BEOGRAD NA VODI-BELGRADE WATERFRONT

Beograd na vodi je monumentalan gradjevinski projekat modernog Beograda XXI veka, u samom srcu grada, koji se uzdize na desnoj obali reke Save. Novija istorija ovog dela Beograda vezuje se za Mariju Tereziju i njenu ideju o preseljavanju hriscanskog stanovnistva, iz utvrdjene varosi, na deo uz Savu - danasnji Beograd na vodi. Prvi srpski vladar koji daje na vaznosti potencijalu tog dela grada bio je Knez Milos Obrenovic, koji je izdao nalog da se pristaniste sa Dunavske strane preseli na zasticeni deo Savske utvrde i na tom mestu razvije trgovacki deo grada, sa zeljom da se bas u Savamali izgradi novi srpski Beograd. Tome u prilog svedoce istorijske gradjevine koje su izgradjene za vreme tog perioda. Gotovo dva veka kasnije, planovi Kneza Milosa se ostvaruju i Beograd zasluzeno dobija svoj nov, moderan, poslovno-stambeni kompleks koji ce po svojoj grandioznosti i sadrzaju biti jedinstven u ovom delu evropskog kontinenta.

Ovaj spektakularan novi centar grada koji projektuje kompanija Eagle Hills, sa izvanrednim inovativnim resenjima i poslednjim arhitektonskim trendovima obuhvatiće stambene jedinice svetskog ranga, najveći tržni centar na Balkanu, vrhunske hotele, mesta od kulturnog značaja, obrazovne institucije, savremene zdravstvene objekte, zelene povrsine, siroke bulevare i mnogobrojna mesta za provod, relaksaciju i odmor. Sadrzaj projekta Beograd na vodi cine stambena zgrada BW Residences – Kula A i Kula B na obali reke Save, Kula Beograd - najvise i najprestiznije gradjevinsko zdanje od Beca do Istanbula, 168 metara visoka kula sa brendiranim apartmanima i hotelom St. Regis Belgrade, stambene zgrade BW Vista, BW Parkview, BW Arcadia, BW Aurora, BW Metropolitan i BW Magnolia - prva niža zgrada spratnosti pet spratova i Galeria Shopping Mall -najveći šoping centar u regionu, svetski poznat hotel sa 5 zvezdica W Hotel(pored BW Residences), Sava Promenada - 2 kilometra dugačka pešačka zona duž Save sa kafeima, restoranima, biciklističkim stazama, zelenim povrsinama (parkovima), igralištem za decu. Rok završetka zgrade BW Residences je 2018., zgrade BW Vista – 2019., zgrade BW Parkview – 2019., BW Arcadia – 2021., BW Aurora – 2021., BW Metropolitan – 2021. I zgrade BW Magnolia - 2021. Kula Beograd će biti završena krajem 2020. godine.

Belgrade Waterfront is a monumental building-project of modern Belgrade in the 21st century, in the very heart of the city, rising on the right bank of the Sava river. Newer history related to this particular part of Belgrade is tied to Maria Theresa and her idea of resettling the Christian population from the forted borough to the part along the Sava River – what is known today as Belgrade Waterfront. The first Serbian emperor emphasizing the importance and potential of this part of the city was Prince Milos Obrenovic, who issued an order to move the dock from the Danube side to the protected part of the Sava Fort, leading towards the development of a merchant part of the city, all with an aim and desire to build a new Serbian Belgrade in Savamala. A proof of this ambition can be seen in numerous historical buildings that were constructed during that period and maintained in this area to the present day. Almost two centuries later, the plans Prince Milos made are being recognized and carried out, and Belgrade is, deservedly, getting its new, modern, business-residential complex which will be unique in this part of the European continent by both its grandiosity and its contents.

This spectacular new city centre, projected by the Eagle Hills company, with its remarkable and innovative solutions, as well as the latest architectural trends will include world-class housing units, the largest shopping mall in the Balkans, fantastic hotels, cultural sites, educational institutions, modern medical facilities, gardens and other greenery, and numerous places for having a good time, as well as relaxation and rest. Located on the right bank of the Sava river, it will be spreading across one million square meters, with the area of buildings covering a total of 1.8 million square meters.

Content of the Belgrade Waterfront project consists of a residential building BW Residences - Tower A and Tower B on the bank of the Sava river, Tower of Belgrade - the tallest and most prestigious building from Vienna to Istanbul, with its 168 meters as well as branded apartments and St. Regis Belgrade hotel, residential buildings BW Vista, BW Parkview, BW Arcadia, BW Aurora, BW Metropolitan and BW Magnolia – the first lower building with its five storeys and Galeria Shopping Mall – the largest shopping mall in the region, world-known five-star W Hotel (next to BW Residences), Sava Promenade - 2 km long pedestrian zone along Sava river with cafés, restaurants, bicycle trails, green areas (parks), and a playground for children. The expected completion date of the BW Residences building is expected to be 2018., for BW Vista it is 2019., BW Parkview – 2019., BW Arcadia – 2021., BW Aurora – 2021., BW Metropolitan – 2021. and BW Magnolia Building – August 2020.

Tower of Belgrade will be completed in December 2020.
